The latest web browsers (like Firefox, Safari, Opera,...) provide some new HTML5 features (like Canvas). Also, the latest computing platforms (like Windows 7 PCs, Apple, smart phones,...) provide the "touch screen" alike capabilities. All the of these new technologies combined together, it makes all new kinds of web applications never built before.

In this article, I like to present a new type application which allows web users to sign their signature on a web form, save their signatures as images to the backend application / database servers, and then the signature images can be easily retrieved from any web clients later.

The following is a live demonstration of this web signature application. There are two functions ("Sign Signature" & "View Signature") provided. Please sign & save your signature first, and then view your (or others') signatures later. Also please make sure you are using an HTML5 compliant web browser.
